What is HealX Nutrition?

HealX Nutrition is an MLM or Multi-Level Marketing company that sells a range of CBD products.

For those that don’t know much about CBDs or cannabidiol, it’s the essential component of medical marijuana and it is derived directly from the hemp plant.

HealX Nutrition is based in Colorado and was founded in 2018, by Tom Guilliams and David Brown, who are both medical doctors.

The company is also currently owned by Kulabrands and their products are manufactured by a separate company called Panacea Life Sciences.

HealX Nutrition doesn’t just have products that cater to us humans, but they also cater for animals too.

The majority of their CBD products are also free from THC and are also certified as vegan-friendly too.

You can see a little more about the company in this 7-minute video below…

All that aside, now let’s clear up whether HealX Nutrition could be a pyramid scheme…

Is HealX Nutrition a Pyramid Scheme?

No, HealX Nutrition is not a pyramid scheme.

Members of the company are able to make money from selling their CBD products, without a need to recruit.

However, even though recruitment is not the clear focus here, it is still worth checking out whether HealX Nutrition could be a pyramid scheme in disguise…

What is a Pyramid Scheme?

A pyramid scheme is a company that promises payment solely based on recruitment.  They don’t have products or services to speak of, an are pretty much illegal everywhere in the world.

A pyramid scheme in disguise is a company that does have products and services, but recruitment is what the company is really interested in and their compensation plan rewards you more for recruitment, rather than selling the products.

Pyramid Schemes are a problem as they are completely unsustainable.  Check out this image from Wikipedia to understand why…

picture of the pyramid scheme

The members that are making the most money are those that are able to recruit a lot of people into a system that ultimately doesn’t work.  There is just not enough people in the world to keep a pyramid scheme going, hence there isn’t enough money being made to pay everyone.

Some MLM’s end up being a pyramid scheme in disguise, as they have overly expensive products that means people aren’t interested in buying your product, so you are only left with recruiting to make money.

Here is a 5-minute video that shows you how to spot a pyramid scheme in disguise…

Now, HealX Nutrition is not a pyramid scheme, but that doesn’t mean that many people are finding success either…

Success is Rare at HealX Nutrition

That isn’t just the case with HealX Nutrition but with all ML M business opportunities.  Most people don’t realise how hard it really is, with most MLM’s making it sound like it is an amazing opportunity.

But it only really works out for the select few.  In fact, there are studies that show that between 72.5% and 99% of all MLM members end up losing money!!

The main course of this is the strict sales quotas they place on their distributors.  If you are unable to meet your sales quota each month, you end up having to buy the products yourself or else risk losing all money you have invested so far.

How Does HealX Nutrition Work?

As we’ve mentioned, HealX Nutrition offers a range of CBD-infused products in the form of capsules, tinctures, oils, gummies, and may other products related to CBD.

They also offer incentives to members who sell their products in return for commissions.  It makes it sound like its a win-win for both the members and the company.

But the harsh reality is that this method saves the company huge amounts on marketing campaigns.  They let their members do the hard work of marketing and selling these products in a heavily competitive market.

HealX Nutrition Product Line

If you are interested in selling their products, you need to have a good understanding of what they are offering, and the benefits, etc.

According to the company, the hemp plants from which HealX Nutrition’s CBD oil is extracted are grown locally and the products themselves are processed in Colorado, under organic standards.

The majority of the products are free from the intoxicating part of the hemp or marijuana – THC or tetrahydrocannabinol.  This is the part that is responsible for most of the psychological effects.  They also claim that their products are of a vegan standard.

Here’s some of their most popular products…

  • XPress ($97) – This is a CBD caplet that helps alleviate anxiety and pain.  A bottle contains 30 tablets with a total dosage of 750mg
  • Yummies ($49.95) – These are edible CBD tablets that help with stress and anxiety. Theses tablets are also free from THC.  A bottle consists a total of 600mg, with 20mg being CBD
  • Canine ($45) – A soft gel capsule that aims to improve the overall health of dogs, it also aims to help make them less prone to stress and anxiety.  Each capsule contains 5mg of CBD, and each bottle has 30 capsules with a total of 150mg of CBD
Is HealX Nutrition a scam - Product Line

Whilst, it all sounds good and all, you do have to consider a couple of things.  Firstly, MLM prices are a lot higher than other products you will find online.

Then there is the fact that the CBD MLM market is already saturated.  There are many different companies that offer very similar products. Examples include…

This will only increase the difficulty to carve yourself an audience to buy these products.  These companies all claim to be unique and offer something special with a special formula.

But the reality is, that when you break down these products they are all pretty much the same.

Although, they do try to convince you they are unique, with a special “flagship” product.

HealX Nutrition Flagship Product

HealX Nutrition’s flagship product is called Heighten and it retails for $93!

is healx nutrition a scam - heighten flagship product

Heighten is a dietary supplement that improves the digestive system and overall wellbeing of the user.  A bottle contains 30 tablets and has a total of 750 mg of CBD, with  each gel containing 25 mg of CBD.

There isn’t anything that particularly sets this apart from many other products on the market.

If you want to learn a little more about their products, you can watch this 4-minute video…

But what you really want to know is whether you can make money with HealX Nutrition, so let’s cover that now…

Haven't Made Your First $1 Yet?

Studies have shown that more than 70% of the people who want to make money online have not made their first dollar yet. So, you’re not alone!

Can You Make Money with HealX Nutrition?

I would say yes, you can make money with HealX Nutrition.  But it is going to be really hard!

There is a positive side to HealX Nutrition, and that is they don’t hold you to a monthly sales quota.

But that doesn’t negate the difficulty of the CBD market, as it is really saturated with many different MLM companies and a lot of other products out there to deal with.

The other issue is that they don’t have an income disclosure statement to show whether their members are actually making money here…

How to Make Money with HealX Nutrition

As HealX Nutrition is an MLM company, they offer two ways for you to make money from their compensation plan…

  1. Sell their products for retail commissions
  2. Recruiting new members into your downline

Please note that to avoid being an outright pyramid scheme, you don’t earn from actually recruiting people.  You earn commissions from any sales they make.  So, you have to recruit people who are able to make sales to earn money.

How Much Does It Cost to Join HealX Nutrition?

The cost of joining HealX Nutrition is actually quite cheap, as it is $20 for an annual subscription.

The other good news is that there is no monthly sales quota like with most MLM’s, so it’s $20 for your expenses.

If you’re able to sell $200 worth of product, they will actually waive that $20 fee too.

Just to be transparent though, you will need to consider other costs that aren’t always necessarily made clear, like marketing, training, travel, good, gasoline, and many other costs.

P.S. This program enabled us to Create a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income Stream.  It’s Free to get started and costs only $49/month to go full-time!

HealX Nutrition Compensation Plan

MLM companies love a complicated compensation plan, and that does include HealX Nutrition too.

We’re going to do our best to keep it nice and simple for you…

There are three main ways for members to make money with their compensation plan.

  • Retail Commissions – Earn 10% to 20% commissions from the products you are able to sell
  • Residual Commissions – Earn 4% to 18% commissions from the sales that your downline members are able to make.  The percentage is dependant on your rank and the level of your downline members
  • Affiliate Generational Pool – Be included in the list of members who will divide the 5% of the company’s total monthly sales.

Don’t worry if you’re not clear on it, that is the general idea of the MLM compensation plan.

It’s done so you don’t look too closely at the many different ways, which are all mainly revolved around recruitment and not selling products.

The simplest way of describing how you can make money is to say this; you can sell the products and recruit a team that sells the products.

To learn more about their compensation plan, you can check out this video…

You can also learn more by watching this 9-minute video about the products you will be selling…

Now, let’s get into whether or not HealX Nutrition could be a scam…

Is HealX Nutrition a Scam?

HealX Nutrition is not a scam.  They sell a product line of legitimate CBD health and wellness products and they pay their members as is claimed.

So, why do people start calling out that HealX Nutrition or MLMs are a scam then?

Well, the biggest problem is that many people join these opportunities because people are selling the dream lifestyle of working form home and earning decent incomes.

But the harsh reality is that people join these things and then end up not making any money as the products they are trying to sell are really overpriced and people can often get cheaper and better alternatives from elsewhere.

They then leave, and call the company a scam.  People often jump in with both feet before really doing any research.

The remainder of our review is going to help you understand both the pros and cons of HealX Nutrition and our overall opinion about them too.

Just to be completely transparent with you, I’m not a distributor of HealX Nutrition, nor do I endorse HealX Nutrition in any way.  I have researched the website, testimonials, and information available on the internet to get the details about what this program genuinely does.    I do this, as I have been caught out by a scam in the past, and am trying to help others avoid a similar fate…

What We Liked About HealX Nutrition

Here’s what we liked about HealX Nutrition:

#1 Products Go Through Multiple Tests

The manufacturer has laboratory results and tests behind the products.  They are also really transparent with this on their website, providing documentation as proof.

There are also certificates of analysis as well as lab results on microbial contaminants, residual solvents, and cannabinoid (CBD) profile.

#2 No Monthly Sales Quota

One of the main reasons that distributors end up losing money with an MLM business opportunity is the monthly sales quota they impose on them.

So, it’s good to see that HealX Nutrition doesn’t impose a monthly sales quota onto you.  This means you do have a higher chance of making money with HealX Nutrition compared to other MLM opportunities.

What We Didn't Like About HealX Nutrition

Here’s what we didn’t like about HealX Nutrition:

#1 The Products Are Expensive

As with most MLMs, their products are really overpriced.

This creates difficulty in you convincing people to buy the products you are promoting, when they can find cheaper alternatives online that offer a similar, or sometimes better effect.

Just a quick search on Amazon, shows tons of results for CBD oils or gummies that all have a high rating, and are cheaper than HealX Nutrition’s products.

#2 Lacks Vital Information

HealX Nutrition doesn’t have an income disclosure statement.

This is really important document, and shows a lack of transparency as it makes it out like they are trying to hide something.

An income disclosure statement shows you whether members are making money or not.  Without one, we cannot really answer whether their members are making money or not.

#3 Is HealX Nutrition a Pyramid Scheme in Disguise?

There is a chance for you to make money just by selling their products without a need to recruit new members.  But the reality is that you will not make good money, unless you recruit.

Here is how their system looks like…

pyramid-scheme

Basically, the more people you recruit, the higher chance of making money you have.

Most MLMs end up being all about recruitment really.  This is why they might not be an outright pyramid scheme, but they do end up being a pyramid scheme in disguise.

#4 Nobody is Searching for HealX

What’s really going to hamper your efforts is that no one is searching for HealX Nutrition.  Check out this screenshot from Google Trends for the last twelve months.

As most MLMs don’t get past the 5 year mark, this might point to HealX Nutrition going the same way…

#5 CBD Efficacy Still In Debate

There are signs that CBD has shown some therapeutic effects, but there is still more to be proven and much is still up for debate.

You also have to put into consideration the legalities as most states still haven’t legalised it there yet.  So, make sure you check out your local laws and see if it has been legalised there.

Haven't Made Your First $1 Yet?

Studies have shown that more than 70% of the people who want to make money online have not made their first dollar yet. So, you’re not alone!

My HealX Nutrition Review - Final Conclusion

HealX Nutrition sells legal, effective, and legitimate CBD products that show therapeutic effects.

But the main problem is that their products are really expensive and overpriced.

As for their business opportunity, the only way for you to earn a significant income will be to recruit, and then recruit some more.

This shows signs that the company could be operating as a pyramid scheme in disguise.

The lack of an income disclosure is also a sign that no one is making money here.

Bottom line, there are much better alternatives to make money, even if you wanted to stay in the CBD market.  Read on to learn more…

How We Make Money Online

We are not fans of MLM, the business model is legit, but the success rate is extremely low (only 1%).

We prefer affiliate marketing, the reasons are simple:

  • No need to sell face to face
  • No need to recruit other people into your downline
  • You are not tied down to one MLM company
  • There are endless possibilities
  • Affiliate programs are usually free to join
  • No monthly quotas

We prefer to help people with their purchasing decisions and not push for sales or go face-to-face, we have found a way of making a passive income online and we would like to help you achieve the same thing.

You can still go with CBD or Hemp Oil as your niche, but with our list of 23 affiliate programs you can join, you can promote products for free and still make money.

If you don’t want to promote CBD, then you can still make money.  Why not choose something that you are passionate about, why not find out how you could turn a hobby into a money-making business opportunity.

If you want to make money online or from home, without all the MLM stuff, then we highly recommend you read our Wealthy Affiliate review.  Find out how with the right training, you can turn your hobby into a profitable online business.

  1. Hi John, I am pleased to meet you. Well, I have seen some recommendations of platforms where most people encourage us to join and make money working from home. But, I have never come across HealX Nutrition before. It’s of utmost importance to get reviews so that we don’t fall for scams, I am therefore thankful to know about HeaIX Nutrition. This is helpful.

    • Hey Kokontala,

thanks for checking out our review!  There are many different platforms out there, some are scams, some are legit.  But the important thing is to make sure you do thorough research before making a decision.

The biggest issue with MLM, and the reason they end up being labelled as a scam, is that people jump in with both feet without fully checking out all of the details.

You look like someone who is doing their research and this should help you avoid any scams that might be out there.

      All the best

  2. I have not heard of HealX Nutrition before, but there products sure look legitimate and it is always good to see that they can back up their claims with third party lab results. I worked for a MLM company for nearly ten years, and know how difficult it is to make money if you are not constantly recruiting and building a downline. I do like that there is no monthly minimum quota, but why should one pay $20 per year to sell their products?

    • Hiya,

thanks for checking out our review!  That is one of my biggest problems with MLM, and that is the need to keep on recruiting.  People often only really have their friends and family to try and recruit and this doesn’t really cut it.

Whilst they don’t have a sales quota and a low annual fee (I’m not sure why either), it still is a hard sell in what is a really saturated market.

      All the best

  3. I decided long ago that selling one type of product on a network marketing type platform is just way too much work for very little return in most cases. In the case of Healx, I have heard the products are great and another plus factor, they are vegan too. However there are far cheaper options out there that are just as good, and this is why it is difficult to sell products if you work for a network marketing company.

Also trying to recruit a downline and keeping them motivated is a full-time job in itself.

They charge more than the product is actually worth, as they, in turn, need to pay all the sellers and their uplines.

I far prefer other methods to make an income on the side, as there are many easier and more fun ways to do this.

    • Hey Michel,

thanks for checking out our review!  It does end up being a lot more effort than any returns you may get from it.  I agree, there are just too many stumbling blocks with an MLM.

A better alternative would be to promote CBD-infused products via affiliate marketing.  It has a much higher success rate, much lower costs and no need to actually sell to your friends and family to make a sale…

If you would like to learn more about affiliate marketing, where you can promote something that you really want to sell instead of being stuck with an expensive, overpriced product, then you can read our complete guide here.
