What is The Lockdown Formula About?
If you went through the sales page, you will have learned practically nothing about what you actually will be doing. It is a typical sales page that I would usually associated with a scam.
Full of hype, promises and no actual detail like this:
They talk about making money fast, and that is our first red flag about this program, especially when we talk about the business model they are talking about.
Jono Armstrong has a bit of a reputation for using a ton of hype to sell these “low-priced” programs, that when you get inside you find that you have to spend a lot of money to actually unlock them fully, and even then not exactly earning money as quickly as he claims…
So, what is The Lockdown Formula Really?
Basically, The Lockdown Formula is an Affiliate Marketing system. The training inside the program shows you how to make money online by promoting products online and making a commission in the process.
As far as that is concerned, Affiliate Marketing is legit and is a real opportunity to make money online.
But trust me when I say that the sales page for The Lockdown Formula does not reveal the true nature of affiliate marketing, and the fact that despite how many promises they make, you will not be earning money quickly…
See, Jono Armstrong (and his disciples) has several of these offers with his name on them. For example, the Ministry of Freedom or The Awakening are just a couple of these programs that are designed in the same way as The Lockdown Formula.
Every time he releases a new program, it is always done with a veil of mystery. He also always talks about earning money fast through a secret method that doesn’t require any skills or experience.
Another way of saying that, is he uses tons of hype to sell these programs to unsuspecting beginners who fall for the trap of quick income…
Let’s take away the veil of mystery, and reveal to you what you will find inside The Lockdown Formula…
Inside The Lockdown Formula
With The Lockdown Formula, you gain access to a basic video training series where Jono is going to show you how to find offers from the main affiliate networks, as well as how to create sales funnels.
The main ingredient you need for success is getting relevant traffic, of course.
You see, that for your initial $9.97 you only really gain access to a short and basic training series that explains what it is about, and shows you how to get started with affiliate marketing.
But if you want to learn how to send traffic to your offers, and earn commissions, you’ll need to upgrade the product with the convenient upsells that will be included inside the platform.
In other words, the training training is included but not final, making you have to spend more to get the full training.
We’ll go more into detail as we go through the review…
How Does The Lockdown Formula Work?
The main concept of the platform is to show you how to make money with affiliate marketing.
You will learn how to find legitimate and popular products from major affiliate networks, such as ClickBank and WarriorPlus. This isn’t exactly difficult, and you could learn this from the platforms themselves… But they will also show you how to get approved for products, something that is required for many WarriorPlus products.
After this, they then train you how to create squeeze pages. These landing pages give some information about the product you’re promoting and are designed to collected emails as well.
This is the basic concept of promoting products, but don’t expect in-depth training inside, it did only cost $10 after all…
So, inside is a series of ten videos that talk about Affiliate Marketing and links to relevant software, tools, and other resources that are needed to put this affiliate system together.
The training will take you through finding a product that you would like to promote, creating a squeeze page, but then you will require traffic to come to your squeeze page to actually make sales (commissions).
But the methods mentioned in the initial training isn’t exactly going to lead to that quick money Jono was talking about… They just mention YouTube videos and paying for Solo Ads. But these methods are very basic, and I’m afraid they will not give you the desired effects.
That is the fundamental problem with Jono Armstrong’s products. You get sucked in with his promises of quick and easy money, and the fact that it’s going to cost you only $10 to achieve it…
But once you’re inside, and finish the training, you soon realise that you will not be making money with this program, as Jono had promised.
So, how do you make it work?
Well, when you initially sign up and before you enter the members area, you are offered a few upsells. One of them is about getting traffic. If you decline them initially, you will find them accessible within the members area.
Once you find the initial training is lacking, you might at some point consider these upsells as they offer you traffic, and traffic is what you need…
It is also one of the main reasons why I would consider this program to be completely misleading and even being close to being considered a scam! It is just a way of convincing you to buy the upsells, so Jono can make more money.
The system could work, but you would need to put considerable effort into learning how to promote these products properly, and effectively. So, you might as well do it the right way from the start. Save yourself the money from these upsells and learn the correct way to get started with affiliate marketing…

If you go by the sales page alone, you are getting everything you need to get started, and not only that you will be earning quick and easy money for just $9.97!!
They even tell you that your purchase is covered by a 30-day money back guarantee… although, I wouldn’t bank on that “guarantee” if I were you…
He tends to ignore the requests, if previous products are anything to go by. Or, he states that you haven’t followed the methods properly (as in bought all his upsells). I would be extremely careful…
The main reason behind the $10 or the initial program is really just to cover the advertising costs of these programs.
The real money is made from selling the upsells within, that all claim to make the process of making money quicker and easier (according to them).
Here are the costs associated with the Lockdown Formula:

- Upsell #3: Quadruple Reseller Rights – $67
- Upsell #4: DFY Set Up & Coaching – $197
The costs do not end there though, to get the traffic they talk about, you will need to at least buy the second upsell. This is where they teach you about Solo Ads. But this in turn ends up with you spending more money on paying people to promote your products on their email lists.
That is the basis of Solo Ads.
Then, if you want to get help, you will need to buy the fourth upsell, which will set you back $197.
The bottom line is that this program is completely misleading, using hype and false promises to ensnare newbies to make the owners more money, and leave you with a system that relies on you spending more to make money (if you’re lucky).

If you go in carefully, you will at least learn about affiliate marketing and creating sales funnels. Armstrong is an expert at creating sales funnels. But I wouldn’t expect this training to actually help you get where you need to be with affiliate marketing the right way…
What We Didn't Like About The Lockdown Formula
Here’s what we didn’t like about The Lockdown Formula:
#1 Over-Hyped & False Promises
The fact they are making it sound like making money online is as simple and easy as they are making it out to be, is my biggest issue with this program. It takes times and effort to achieve a long-term strategy with affiliate marketing.
Jono Armstrong has been doing this for years, and so already has the budget to spend marketing these programs, he even teaches others how to build this “magic-button” systems to lure newbies in.
But they don’t teach you a sustainable way to make your own long-term income stream. You become totally reliant on their system, and that is the problem, if Jono decides to close the system down.
You lose your landing pages, etc.
#2 Upsells & Hidden Costs
The basic program will not help you, therefore you will feel like you need to buy the upsells to achieve what Jono says is possible with this program, but that would also lead you to having to spend money on Solo Ads.
A lot of the information available within this program would be found with a quick Google search or checking out a few YouTube videos.

Is The Lockdown Formula misleading, yes? Is it going to earn you money as quickly as Jono is promising, no!
So, I would be justified in saying that this program could be considered a scam. The only thing that stops it being an outright scam is the fact that they do give you basic training for your initial $10.
However, due to the misleading nature of this program, I would highly recommend you stay away from it. They are selling you on the promise of earning endless income with affiliate marketing, but don’t give you enough to actually achieve what they promise.
The basic product will not help you, leading you to think you need to buy the upsells, but that is not a guarantee of success either.

Let’s clear something up first, Affiliate Marketing is totally legit. It can and has helped people earn consistent incomes with it. But it requires hard work and effort to do it properly.
