Is Brand Marketer a Scam? – Automatic Affiliate Profits or Just Another MMO Scam? [REVIEW]

Welcome to our Brand Marketer Review!

Have you been checking out ways to make money online and fallen on a sales page full of hype and wondering if Brand Marketer is really as good as they claim…?

Brand Marketer claims to give you a DFY program that will automatically earn you commissions from top selling brands at “the lowest price”.

They also make some claims around Brand Marketer’s ability to generate you original content daily to help you in your pursuit…

Well, we are here to give you the facts and information behind all these claims to show you whether this product is worth your money or whether it is just all a load of hype!

First off, it is great to see that you are doing your research before buying into a “seemingly good” product.

It is the best way to avoid scams and find legitimate ways to make money online!

Just to be completely transparent with you, we are not associated with Brand Marketer in any way.  So, you can relax, we are not here to pitch or sell anything to you (unlike many other reviewers of this product).

We just want to make sure you have all the relevant information you need before making a decision on whether to purchase this or any other MMO product.

So, we are going to answer the questions you really need to know the answer to.  Is Brand Marketer a worthwhile investment, is it a total scam or is it somewhere in the middle where many of its claims and promises are not as clear-cut as they are making out…

Let’s start answering those questions with a quick product overview:

Brand Marketer Review

Pros

  • Promotes Affiliate Marketing

Cons

  • Hype & False Promises
  • Duplicate & Spun Content = No Rankings
  • Strategy is Backwards
  • Don’t Believe the Social Media Hype
  • 100% Positive Reviews with Bonuses

Summary: Brand Marketer is a DFY Affiliate Marketing website builder that combines with a content spinner.  It claims to let you promote one of twenty top brands via an affiliate comparison website, with daily “original” content being posted to your website.

Our concerns are more with the fact that this content will be “borrowed” from other websites, which means it will be duplicate content meaning their promises of guaranteed rankings is unfounded.  You will end up with a website with no chance of ranking in the search engines, meaning no one will come to your website and click on your links to make you money!!

Definitely not recommended!

What is Brand Marketer?

Brand Marketer is a Done-For-You (DFY) website builder based on affiliate marketing, it also has an in-built content spinner (we’ll explain later) that claims to let you “Sell the Best Products at the Lowest Price on the Internet”.  All this done on autopilot!

brand-marketer-bold-claims

Now, Affiliate Marketing is a legitimate way to make money online.  In fact, it is the way we make money online.  So, there is some basis in truth around some of their claims.  As to whether this program will actually help you build you own profitable affiliate marketing business is something we would question.

The reason we say that is that there are issues with how the software works, but more importantly some of their claims are clearly just hype or even false promises.

Who's Behind Brand Marketer?

The guy behind Brand Marketer is a guy called Dan Green.  He has also been behind a number of products that are similar to this one.  In that I mean that they all offer tons of hype, but their promises all turn out to be dependent on whether you buy the upsells and then sell the product on to others, rather than the actual product doing what it says he does.  Products including VideoMate, Audit Profits, Click and Bank.

brand-marketer-dan-green

The fact that he keeps coming up with these “shortcuts” to making money and yet none of them seem to have actually had any success raises into question any new product he brings out to market.

He does know how to make money from affiliate marketing, but he chooses not to share that information with newbies.  Instead he tries to exploit them for a profit.

People are looking for quick ways to make money online, yet there is no get-rich-quick scheme we have found yet that is legit.  Honest marketers will tell you it will take a bit of time and effort to make money online.

These other marketers promise you quick results in exchange for money that will more likely put you into further debt than actually lead to results.

Let’s get back to how Brand Marketer works and is supposed to help you make money.

How Does Brand Marketer Work?

Brand Marketer is an online platform that provides you with a website that can promote one of 20 top brands using the affiliate marketing business model.

The platform claims it only takes 3 steps:

Step 1: Choose a Brand

They offer 20 top brands for you to choose from:

  1. Apple
  2. Microsoft
  3. Sony
  4. Nintendo
  5. Ralph Lauren
  6. Hugo Boss
  7. Gucci
  8. Adidas
  9. Converse
  10. Chanel
  11. Samsung
  12. Disney
  13. Canon
  14. L’Oréal
  15. Prada
  16. Puma
  17. Huawei
  18. Gillette
  19. Colgate
  20. Estee Lauder

Step 2: Sign Up as An Affiliate

To be able to promote the products from these brands, you will need to sign up as an affiliate with Amazon, eBay and AliExpress.

These are all free affiliate programs and are legit.

Step 3: Enter Your Affiliate IDs

Enter Your Affiliate IDs into Brand Marketer.

They then will use this to generate you an affiliate marketing comparison website where they will show your customers where to buy those products at the lowest price.

Now, I do believe that this part will work.  You will have a comparison website with these products.  But the most important part of an affiliate marketing website is actually having traffic come to your website.

There is little point having a website, if you don’t have any traffic coming to your website.

So, if they are able to generate you traffic like they say it does then you could be onto a good deal.  So, let’s get into that now.

Combined with the new website they have just provided you; they claim to be able to provide you with daily original content…

Original Content Claims?

For starters, their claims about the need for original content is true.  It is important to write regularly high-quality content for your website.  SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is an important part of any online business.

However, the way they claim to get you this content is the problem.  It is pulling content from other people’s sites to show on your website.

This is basically nicking someone else’s content to place on your new website.

In the eyes of Google, this will be duplicate content.  So, this will really harm your ranking ability as Google will not rank duplicate content.

So, the question is whether Brand Marketer is smarter than Google to make it not look like duplicate content… In my opinion, I would not say they are!

There is also the fact that, even if they were posting daily content for you this would still not be a quick way of ranking your website and getting the results you need as quickly as they claim.

Haven't Made Your First $1 Yet?

Studies have shown that more than 70% of the people who want to make money online have not made their first dollar yet. So, you’re not alone!

How Much Does Brand Marketer Cost?

So, how much is this Brand Marketer going to cost you, let’s detail the front-end cost and the upsells in the Sales Funnel.

Brand Marketer: Frontend – $37

This is the front-end product, with the ability to create a free sub-domain website promoting one of 20 brands.  They claim it will post high-quality daily posts to your website for you.  (But these will be duplicate content).

Upsell 1: Brand Marketer Pro – $67

This allows you to get unlimited websites with unlimited website hosting, but these again will be subdomain websites.  They also claim it will add faster Google Rankings and 10x more profits (Bold Claims)

Upsell 2: Brand Marketer Easy Amazon Profits – $27/month

They will add in-depth product reviews and post them weekly to your website

Upsell 3: Brand Marketer DFY – $197

They claim this upgrade will not require you to lift a finger and it will all be done for you…

Upsell 4: Brand Marketer Living Training – $67

A Live Online Training Event

Upsell 5: Brand Marketer Agency – $197

This gives you the ability to sell on Brand Marketer and keep 100% from any sales made through the sales funnel. (Or, you could sign up with Warrior Plus and promote it for free?)

The frontend product will be limited, and it is only really an introduction into the sales funnel where they will claim that you need each and every one of these upsells to give you the ability to increase your profits.  But we firmly believe that this will not have the desired effect you are wanting.

The reason is mainly down to the fact that this duplicate content they are pushing will not get you the traffic you need to make sales.  Duplicate content will not get ranked in Google.  No rankings, no sales.

When you know what you are doing, you could create a website and have it up and running pretty quickly.  That is the easy part.  With the right training, this is something anyone and everyone could create.

But the important part is creating content that is going to help your audience with their decisions.

Take the apple website they show on their demo.  If people have always been windows, they would need to some solid advice that it will not be that difficult to make the change and what the pros and cons are about an Apple product, etc.

That is how a true affiliate marketer makes money, they help their audience and create content that answers all their questions.  But it will be original content created by a blogger, like we do on this site.

But what they are offering is a fancy website that is hosted on their servers and offering you spun content that will not rank as well as a content that you have written, if it ranks at all.

They are playing on your lack of experience to make a sale out of you.

You would do better to save your money and try a proven training platform that will teach you the correct way of starting with affiliate marketing and is even Free to get started…  Click HERE to learn about our top recommended training platform for Affiliate Marketing.

What We Liked About Brand Marketer

Here is what we liked about Brand Marketer:

#1 Promotes Affiliate Marketing

They are, in a way, showing you what it takes to make an affiliate marketing business successful.  Creating high-quality content regularly will increase a websites’ ranking and then showing them the right products and services with an affiliate link will create a way of making money online.

They are going about it backwards where they are focusing on getting products on the website before creating the content, etc.  Which will not exactly work, and we will explain why in the concerns section.

But as Affiliate Marketing is legit and they are covering off the extreme basics, that is why this one is here

#2 Money Back Guarantee

They do offer a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee on this purchase.  But they do have a proviso that their support desk cannot fix the issue.  Which basically means they will tell you that you need to spend more to make it work.  But the product is offered on Warrior Plus, so you could go through them to get your money back.

What We Didn't Like About Brand Marketer

Here is what we didn’t like about Brand Marketer:

#1 Full of Hype & False Promises

This product like many, overdoes the promises on their sales page.  They make it out like it is so simple and that all you need to do is spend $40 and all this money is going to just find its way into your bank.  But that is nowhere near the truth.

I do think that this will generate you a nice-looking comparison website.  But that doesn’t guarantee people are going to find your website and decide to buy through your links.

Especially if your website doesn’t have high-quality content which we will get into in a moment.

There are too many of these MMO products that promise you the world, but they don’t even tell you themselves that there are upsells that you will need to buy to unlock certain features.

Don’t get me wrong, some of their claims are based on truth, but it is the way they word it to make a newbie feel like this will be the magic system they need.

When, with a bit of work and the right training you would find a much better way of creating your own affiliate marketing website offering a better alternative to anyone looking for help with their purchasing decisions!

#2 Duplicate/Spun Content = No Rankings

I will say again, they software generates you content by pulling content from other authority websites.  This is both illegal and not going to get you rankings.

Maybe a few years ago, you could have got away with it.  But the search engines are actively looking for the best content to provides it users.  It has ways of seeing if you are offering original content.  This strategy will not work!

Without any rankings within the search engines, there is little point of having this website.  Plus, if one of the authority websites does find out you are using their content without permission, you could find yourselves in court.

#3 Strategy is Backwards

What I mean by this is having a brand-new website full of affiliate links.  From what the demo shows is a website that is full of product reviews all with affiliate links on and then they will start putting blog posts on your website.

The search engines are more interested in helping their users.  So, if they see a site full of affiliate links without much other content – this will not help with rankings either.

The training program we started out with actually teaches you to create quite a bit of content before even considering adding affiliate links.

The reason – affiliate marketers need to focus on helping people, not selling to people.  If people already knew what they were going to buy, they wouldn’t need to visit a blog to learn more.  People who are not sure what to buy will do their research.

A good affiliate marketer will help someone with that decision via their blog content and then include a link for the person to go and buy it from the respective outlet (Amazon, for example).

This Brand Marketer is not teaching the right strategy and will put a newbie further back in their quest for earning money.

#4 I Don’t Believe the Social Media Hype!

What I mean by this is, that they include a number of Facebook comments from “proven beta users” on their sales page and I don’t believe they are real.

I searched some of the names on there and whilst they may be on Facebook.  I think they have just borrowed their profile picture and name to make it look like they are pleased with the results…

#5 100% Positive Reviews with Bonuses

There is a trend with these MMO products that are full of hype and false promises and that is the positive reviews from Internet Marketers.  Reviews that have been posted before the product has even launched.  They are all offering a ton of bonuses and yet they do not actually tell you anything different to what is included in the sales page.

I do not believe that a product can be a 5/5.  As things will always need to be kept up to date, especially with Google constantly updating its algorithms.  Yet these reviewers tell you it is awesome, and you must buy it.  But they don’t give you any watch outs.

#6 Only a Subdomain Website

If you are new to the online world, you might not understand the difference between a subdomain website and a full domain website.

The difference is that a full domain website (like the one you are on now) is mine.  I have paid for it, and if the hosting service I use was to go out of business, I could just move it to another hosting provider.  Think of the hosting as the ground and the website as the house.  A house is built on ground.  If the ground (hosting) were to go, I would just move the house (website).

A subdomain website like the one you would get with Brand Marketer is not yours in anyway.  If Brand Marketer was to go out of business, your website would be gone.  You would not be able to move it.

So, even if you used their platform just to get the website and not use their content.  You could have an issue if Dan decided to close it down and relaunch it with another name.  (Quite common with MMO programs).

Haven't Made Your First $1 Yet?

Studies have shown that more than 70% of the people who want to make money online have not made their first dollar yet. So, you’re not alone!

My Brand Marketer Review - Final Conclusion

Whilst I would not class Brand Marketer as an outright scam, I would still advise caution to anyone thinking of buying this platform.

The fact that the content that they will be providing you will hinder any chances you have of making sales is one of their marketing points shows that they are hoping only newbies find their sales page and believe all the false promises they are putting into their over-hyped sales page.

This will not help a newbie make money online, in fact it will probably put them into a bit of debt through their entire sales funnel and it will put them even further away from a proper affiliate marketing business.

Affiliate Marketing is legit and with the right training can and will lead to a profitable online business.  But not by following their outdated strategy.  If you want to learn the right way to start affiliate marketing, then read on…

How We Make Money Online

I don’t like the fact that these experience marketers don’t really want to help beginners get started online, they would rather just exploit them.  That is why we write honest reviews like this one with all the facts.  We do not miss out on the important details to ensure you get the good and the bad of any product.

But I want to assure you that you can make money online with affiliate marketing.  We do, and it is something that many other affiliate marketers do too.

But they are also willing to work hard to help people.  Their claims about choosing the right products is a little unfounded as you need to know your target audience and what questions they may have, more than just promoting fancy products.

Take Apple again, yes, their products are a little expensive with a good commission rate.  But if you have no knowledge around technology, etc.  You will find that you will not make any affiliate sales, as you cannot create the content that helpers your readers.

But if you have a hobby or passion that is sport, then you would do well to target that and make tons of sales because you know exactly what your target audience is thinking and what questions they are asking and can create tons of posts that help them.  The products might be cheaper, but at least you will be making regular sales once your business is up and running and pulling that all-important traffic.

With the right training, the right tools and the right support you can build your very own affiliate marketing website that can promote whatever you want.  If you want to go down the route of promoting any of the brands they are showing in this product, you can.  But you need to follow the right strategy and create content that can help your readers, then you will find the sales coming in.

If you want to follow our advice and learn the correct way of starting an affiliate marketing business, then you need training that will take you step-by-step through everything needed to succeed.  It is the exact same training platform that we used to get started, and it comes with a FREE Starter Membership.  They only have two memberships.  One is Free and one is $49/month.  There is no pressure to upgrade and the FREE membership is a full membership with some training and support to get you going.

If you do decide to follow our advice and the get this amazing training from Wealthy Affiliate, you will also gain our support.   By following our link, we will be there to answer your questions any time.

This route might not be the quick route you were looking for, but then again, I have yet to find one that actually works like they say.  SO, you could spend 6 months looking for one (and failing) or spend that 6 months building your own affiliate marketing business!!

  1. Thank you so much for this information as I am always interested in knowing about other online businesses especially other affiliate marketing.

I especially like the way that you have written this article in a very professional way let us know factually about the good and bad aspects which allows people to come to their own conclusion about this business.

I certainly will not be taking any further interest mainly as I am extremely happy with Wealthy Affiliate which I find is a great community as much as a great business. I especially enjoy helping others and the training is phenomenal.

  2. Hello there, This is an awesome article that you have got here. Brand marketer appears to be a great opportunity to online entrepreneurs but is definitely not a good deal for any one that is new to online business and it as well has less significant to the upshoot of any Niche. It is not a scam but not worth the try.

Thanks for sharing this loaded information with me.
