Table of Contents

What is Inbox Blueprint 2.0?

Inbox Blueprint was developed by Anik Singal. Anik has been named in the top three entrepreneurs by ‘Business Week’ and twice by ‘Inc 500’.

Inbox Blueprint is a training program designed to teach you how to start an effective email marketing campaign, how to build up a subscriber list from scratch and offer a number of tools to help you achieve this.

Email Marketing is still a really effective way of earning income online and is a key factor in building the trust factor of your online business. So, learning how to do it effectively is ideal for anyone who has an online business.

My only watch out is if you are looking for business opportunities, this might not be the first step.

anik-singal-owner-of-inbox-blueprint

To gather email addresses, you first need a website and consistent traffic levels, otherwise you are paying for an autoresponder when you don’t really need to.

If you are still not there with either you are probably better off looking for a training platform, such as Wealthy Affiliate that can help you get started and look at Email Marketing later on down the road where this training could be really useful.

Who Would Inbox Blueprint Benefit?

Email Marketing is an effective method with any online business, and regardless of anything you might have heard it is still a proven way and is something that anyone with an online business will benefit from.  So if you have an online business and looking into email marketing, you could benefit from this training.

But I would point out that this training is expensive and if you have not already launched a business that is getting consistent traffic or earning money through it – then this might not be right for a beginner or someone looking for a business opportunity.

Inside Inbox Blueprint

There are six steps in the training at Inbox Blueprint and has recently been updated from Inbox Blueprint 1.0 to Inbox Blueprint 2.0.  This came with a big price rise, but also came up with some decent training updates too.

inbox-blueprint-training-steps

Step One – Addiction Meter

This stage covers choosing a niche for your email marketing campaigns.  There are a select few, as this program is aimed at people getting started online and not adding it to an existing business – but either way the you will either benefit from the training or the niches they suggest.  They also are focusing on evergreen niches in their training, there is no point focusing on a niche that will be short-lived. You will also be introduced to a few select websites where you can choose products to connect to your campaigns using a CPA or CPL method to earn money.

Note – CPA is a cost per action method where you will earn if the person buys the product you referred them to.  CPL is a cost per lead method where you will earn for a introducing a qualified lead.

Whilst this product does appear to be a product that is for beginners, due to the training element.  There are some key things you need to understand to get the best out of this product, which you might not necessarily learn from Inbox Blueprint. You might be better starting with another training program first and learn some of the key basics of an online business.

Step Two – Learn How to Build an Opt-in Page

Getting people to sign up to your list is half of the battle.  Why are people going to sign up? If you are offering insightful and useful information with a great opt-in page, then they are more likely to hand over their details.  This stage is all around how to get people to sign up in the right way. Learn how to build a good opt-in page.

Step Three – TYP Method (Thank You Page)

This is something that is often overlooked and yet is a key stage in gaining that person’s trust, to earn money from email marketing you need to ensure they join your list and stay with your list.  Having the right thank you page is key, and this stage of the training goes through this for you.

Step Four – Email Machine

To manage your email campaigns effectively, you need an autoresponder. Inbox Blueprint gives you great training and has now included a trial for an autoresponder called Sendlane.  But they also suggest 2 other great autoresponders too.  Both will have a cost, but I personally use the one and have heard great things about the other.  Aweber and Getresponse.

Note – An Autoresponder is a service where they allow you to capture email address, create email campaigns which can be over set days. It makes it much easier to manage then manually sending an email when you get someone sign up for your email.

As I said, this are external programs that you will need to subscribe to and will have a cost.  Aweber does offer a free trial, and the more email addresses you capture you more your monthly fee will be with them.  But whichever direction you go with an online business, you will end up signing up with one anyway.  Email is still really relevant to online business and building trust.

Step Five – List Relationship

How do you stop your emails ending up in their junk mailbox…? I have seen some other email training platforms and they focus on filling people’s inbox’s with stuff.  That will never work, as people are just going to unsubscribe from your list.  Inbox Blueprint does take the time to teach you how to build up a relationship with the reader.  If they are ever going to buy something you are recommending, they need to trust you.  By building up this email relationship the right way you are more likely to build up that trust levels.

This does give Inbox Blueprint a lot of positives in my book, as they understand the need for the trust factors and how to do it the correct way.

Steps Six to Eight – Scaling Your Business

Steps six to eight focus on how you scale the strategies you have learned in the previous five steps to increase the amount of traffic you get and increase sales.

Additional Content

Inbox Blueprint used to be version 1.0 but has now updated to Inbox Blueprint 2.0 and this has come with a number of additional content:

  • Launchpad – Build 10 businesses – 100% automation
  • Proprietary Content Engine (Provides you with content)
  • Guided Assessment Based Training (Step-by-Step Guide)
  • Complimentary Sendlane Start – Autoresponder – 30 days free
  • 12 months unlimited support
  • Bonus #1 – 12 months Lurn Master’s Club Membership
  • Bonus #2 – Traffic Academy Membership (Both free & paid traffic strategies)
  • Bonus #3 – 6 Week Fast Start Program (Helps you get 1,000 subscribers in 6 weeks)

Launchpad is a major selling point of the whole program and it goes through the stages of starting an email marketing campaign live – see the video below for more details.

Proprietary Content Engine does go against the ethics of online business, where it is about running an online business based on using other people’s content (duplicating their content).  This is a red mark for me against this program but is the only one really.  The content is for use in your emails, so it won’t get picked up on the same way it would if it was on your website, but still is something I do not agree on.

They do go through some in-depth stuff with regards email marketing and on the face of it, it looks like it would benefit people who are looking at focusing on email marketing or those looking to scale their business, but there is a cost to this.  Before we explore the price, let’s look at the pros and cons of Inbox Blueprint.

Haven't Made Your First $1 Yet?

Studies have shown that more than 70% of the people who want to make money online have not made their first dollar yet. So, you’re not alone!

How Much Does Inbox Blueprint Cost?

You would need to consider this an investment as it is $997 to get started with Inbox Blueprint 2.0.  Now someone who is earning good money through their online business would see this as a great investment and something they could use to scale their business down the email route.  But everything I saw was pitched at some getting started in online business, I feel this wouldn’t be a great investment for them.

You also have to factor in the costs that are not visible straightaway.  The initial cost does not include the costs of an autoresponder or the cost of running a website.

An autoresponder’s cost will typically depend on how many subscribers you have. But Aweber starts at $19/month and web hosting will depend on who you choose (we recommend SiteRubix).

There is also an element in the training of using Paid Traffic, which again can cost you more money than you want to invest especially if it doesn’t give you a return.

But either way, do not expect to get everything included.  You also gain 12 months access to the support, but does that mean there is another cost when that 12 months is up.  If you use this program and start earning good money from it, you would want to ensure you have support in case anything goes wrong?

What We Liked About Inbox Blueprint

Here’s what we liked about Inbox Blueprint:

#1 Quality Training

The training within Inbox Blueprint is very detailed and covers the topic really well.

The training is easy to follow and bring you from scratch to monetising your list, no missing details.

#2 12-Months Unlimited Support

You gain access to their expert coaches as well as the Lurn community for 12 months.

Lurn community is a really active community, and there is a lot of value within the community.

If you follow their training closely, and take the necessary actions, you’ll definitely start making money before the 12-month access period ends.

#3 LaunchPad is Awesome

If you didn’t go through the bit about LaunchPad, then you need to know this is a great feature.

LaunchPad is an All-in-One tool for you to build your own opt-in pages, lead magnets, autoresponder and many more features too.

It’s a really powerful tool that makes the whole Email Marketing process very simple.

What We Didn't Like About Inbox Blueprint

Here’s what we didn’t like about Inbox Blueprint:

#1 Not Beginner-Friendly

The training within the program itself is beginner-friendly, and has been designed to take a newbie through the Email Marketing process.

However, if you have any experience in making money online at all, then it’ll be a lot harder to follow the training and to see results.

Also, there aren’t many beginners who can afford the high-ticket price of the program as well as the expensive costs that come with paid traffic.

#2 The Training Course Wasn’t Developed By Anik

Whilst Inbox Blueprint is founded by Anik, the actual training course was not developed by Anik himself.

So, if you thought that you would be learning from Anik throughout the whole course, the you’ll be sorely disappointed.

#3 No Free Trial & Refund

There isn’t an opportunity to take this platform for a test drive.  There’s no free trial or refund options with Inbox Blueprint.  So, you have to either pay $997, 3 payments of £397, or don’t pay for it at all.

inbox-blueprint-refund-policy

Inbox Blueprint claims that you gain immediate access to lots of resources upon your enrolment, so they don’t offer a refund.

Haven't Made Your First $1 Yet?

Studies have shown that more than 70% of the people who want to make money online have not made their first dollar yet. So, you’re not alone!

My Inbox Blueprint Review - Final Conclusion

Let’s just clarify, this is not a scam product – it is just an expensive option for the audience they are targeting.

If you already have a successful online business and are looking at ways to scale your business to the next level, I can see why this product would be a good investment.

If you are just starting out and looking for an online business opportunity, I would suggest there are better routes, such as affiliate marketing to getting started without the relatively high cost of $997!

With great support, great training and a proven method in email marketing – anyone with an online business and have the funds to use it, Inbox Blueprint looks like a great platform.

How We Make Money Online

If you were looking at Inbox Blueprint as the first step in building an online business, then you will be sorely disappointed.  This course is ideal for an established business owner hoping to improve conversions, etc.  Someone who already has a traffic source to capture these emails.

But if you are a complete newbie – you need to learn how to build a website, how to gain traffic, how to monetise your site first – that is why we would recommend Wealthy Affiliate first.  But a solid foundation, and then consider investing into this course to learn email marketing…

This is how we got started, and thanks to the training at Wealthy Affiliate, we have Created a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income Stream… Click HERE to learn more…

  1. It’s actually the one element of internet marketing that I have failed at – email marketing.

At the end of the day I don’t have any problems building a list, I just have problems with converting the people on that list! I’m wondering if Inbox Blueprint could offer some effective advice on conversions?

What level would you say this training is aimed at?

    • Hey Chris,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  It is one of those strategies that has a great result if we get it right, but it is the one that doesn’t always work out.

Personally I would say that this product is really for someone with a sound online business, is generating a lot of traffic with great insightful posts and is earning good money from it.  This means the persons behind that business has a good handle of internet marketing and online business in general and is fully happy with everything they need to know with it.

That is the type of person I feel would benefit from Inbox Blueprint, you would already know many of the topics they are discussing and be able to fully utilise the tips and techniques they are talking about.

      thanks

  2. This is the very first time I am reading or hearing about Inbox Blueprint 2.0. Their 8 step training sounds okay for someone with some online work experience. When I was starting out, I was completely ignorant. Inbox blueprint would not have been a good option at the time. And the $1497 fee!!!

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  The price tag would put many new marketers off, but that is why I suggest this is for a more experiences marketer who has already got a foundation online.

  3. Seems a good product to invest in but as you say only once your online business is established and not at beginner level. A bit of a shame it is directed to folks just starting out as this could be overwhelming to say the least.

In my opinion you should get the great training from Wealthy Affiliate where you will learn, among many things, the strategies of SEO optimisation first.

Thanks for this review all in all seems a good product and worth the investment when the time is right!

    • Hey Diane,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  You are right, it may come a time when it is something to explore.  But getting started can be daunting enough, and this product just focuses on email marketing and not everything else there is to an online business.  Wealthy Affiliate offers some great training that can help new or struggling affiliate marketers get started with a great foundation that makes money to be able to explore these different products.

      thanks

  4. Hi John, This is a very in depth and informative review. I had not heard of Inbox Blueprint 2.0 but after reading this review agree with you that it is expensive. Definitely not for someone just starting out. Once one has a good following and is more confident then I could see this being very good in growing an already profitable business to another level.

Thank you for all the work you have done in getting this across.

    • Hey Jill,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  Just starting out it might seem expensive, as a business investment further down the road it may be one we all take.  Email Marketing is definitely something we all need for our online business at the right time.

  5. The site has been nicely designed and is mostly clutter free. The colour scheme used by you is very good as it makes your site looks clean and trustworthy.

You have discussed Inbox Blueprint with great depth and it is evident that you have spent quite a lot of time doing research on the topic and came us with such a detailed review of the product. The examples used are also pertinent and to the point.

Inbox Blueprint is a successful product from one of the affiliate marketing gurus and Anik Singal needs no introduction.

However, my personal opinion is that the product is very steeply priced and there are many other products available in the market which costs a percentage of Inbox Blueprint but has been able to give similar results.

    • Hey,

thanks for checking out my post and sharing your thoughts.

Anik, is very well known and typically will put the price up as he knows his stuff and people are paying the price.  But again, we all need to invest in our businesses at time – the key decision is doing it at the right time for the right reasons.  Email Marketing is still very effective and if you are ready to move your business to the next stage, might be a sound business decision.

      thanks

  6. Thank you John for a good review on Inbox Blueprint. I haven’t tried it my self. But I do have bought another system for some years ago from Anik, about email marketing. And I would like to agree with you. Anik and his team know what they are doing, but for me that was new for online business by that time felt it was to much when I didn’t had a business in beforehand to connect the e-mail marketing to. I also felt it got a bit of cultural conflict in how they train to communicate in the e-mails, and how often they think it’s good to send mail. As a Swedish girl I felt that it got extremely American. But on the other hand, the American market is extremely lot bigger then my “home market”. So it could be a good tactical move to learn marketing communication according to American culture as well. But I felt the system I bought at that time was expensive, and didn’t worked out for me as person, even if Anik and his team is good and know their areas. So for beginners I would go with your tip to maybe look at some other option for a start.

    • Hey Marika,

thanks for sharing your experience.  Sometimes the program just isn’t right for you.  I think there is an element of an american feel to selling, they are a lot more forward than we are, I am from the UK and sometimes feel the same.

But there are always things we can learn and takeaway, but it still needs to be genuine and from you.  So it can’t just be one way.  There is an art to email marketing and getting pushy doesn’t work.

But you are right, if you are new to online business, there are better ways of getting started with great support and a proven method.  Wealthy Affiliate covers all aspects on an online business.

      thanks

  7. To be just an email marketing program, the price is, in my opinion, oversized. It seems that the email marketing training of Inbox Blueprint is quite good but the target group is only those marketers who has already a flourishing online business and they  are interested to develop their email marketing campaigns. This program isn’t suitable for beginners but they have to start they online business in proper platforms such as Wealthy Affiliate and others. I think you can get nowadays great training from email autoresponder companies and the price is much lower. Great review and summary about Inbox Blueprint program.

    • Hey Kari,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  You are right, most email autoresponders, including Aweber include some great training about their programs.  But I do feel that the training does lack some of the tips that Wealthy Affiliate or Inbox Blueprint would cover about getting it working to the extent it can be.

As I said in the review, this is for experience marketers looking to take the next step and this training will do it.

      thanks again

  8. Hi John,

Thanks a lot for this article. Indeed Email marketing is still one of the best ways to success for any online business owner. It does work a lot. Most of the expert will tell you that it is the best way of building a passive income online. However, even though Inbox Blue Print 2.0 looks like a very good opportunity in terms of Email marketing, I personally don’t think it is the best option for me.

I wanted to try Email marketing sometime ago but could not because of money issue since Email Auto-responders like AWeber will demand that you make some monthly payment. I had to stop in the mean time even though it is a good way of marketing my business. So, I think paying $997 +to Inbox Blue Print will be a big issue as a beginner in affiliate marketing.

Thanks for the review, I like your honesty. Most people will like to say its a scam even though it is not a scam. So, you did a good job in given this thorough review.

    Stephen.

    • Hey Stephen,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  There is an element of people saying it is a scam as it is highly priced or it didn’t work for them.  But a scam is something where they are just after your money and don’t offer you anything in return.  Inbox Blueprint does offer some great training, built by a well-known business person – it just comes with a high cost.

As someone just starting out, it can seem like the price isn’t justified and sometimes they are not.  But what we need to understand is that there will be times where you need to invest into your business, if you want to scale it.

We all want to be able to work from home with an online business – but you need to reinvest your earnings in the beginning to eventually realise that goal.

Email Marketing is great and there are plenty of resources out there that are not as expensive, like the Email Marketing training at Wealthy Affiliate.  But there may come a point where you decide to invest in programs like this one.

But that is why I recommend this one to experienced marketers and not newbies.  That is the only thing I feel about this product, it isn’t for newbies and yet it is kind of pitched that way.

      thanks again

      John
