Aurora System Review – Scam or Legit?

Aurora claims to be a “Game-Changing Software” to automate $1,000 commissions.  In this Aurora System review, we are going to explore as to whether this system really works and is worth your money.

Whenever people are looking for ways to make money online, we all come across these types of products that claim you don’t need to put any effort in and sit back and watch the money roll in.

That is normally a big sign of a scam, so is Aurora any different…?  Let’s find out…

Aurora System Review

Summary:  Aurora is a system that claims to generate free traffic with minimal effort.  Any system that claims you only need to spend 5 minutes a day worries me, and Aurora is no different.  Selling high-ticket products needs to be highly targeted to the right audience and I am not confident that the Pinterest method they suggest is as good as they make out.

The sales video also lacks any real information about anything to do with how the Aurora System works… Whilst the initial cost is low and appealing, know that you are going to have to buy all of the upsells to actually be in a position where you can earn the kind of money they are stating and even then I am not convinced that this will work.

They are targetting brand new people to the system and when you actually get into the detail of what you need to do there are huge assumptions made in their logic that this will work…  I would not recommend this to someone who is looking to start out.

What is the Aurora System?

Aurora is from Brendan Mace and Jono Armstrong, it has recently launched on WarriorPlus.

Brendan Mace and Jono Armstrong

The way Aurora promotes itself is typically of a system where they want you to believe the hype they are trying to create.  But if you go through all of their sales page, you will notice a key ingredient is missing.  What you will be actually doing.

They tell you that you will not need a website… You won’t need your own products… You will also not need to use paid ads…

I can totally get why someone trying to make money might find this really appealing and it does sound like the ideal system for someone just starting out.

However, like most products like this – It is not as easy as they are making out…

Aurora sells itself as a system where you do not require a website, your own products and you will not require any paid ads to make money with.

On the face of it, this makes it sound like the ideal system for someone just starting out.  But there is a lot more you need to know before you jump with both feet into joining Aurora.

So, what is Aurora and will you be doing?

Well, The method you will be using to make money with Aurora is Affiliate Marketing.

There is nothing wrong with that, we use affiliate marketing as a way of making money.  But they are claiming that the Aurora software can help you make $1,000 commissions by promoting high ticket products or services without any previous experience or training…

When you take affiliate marketing as a business model, it is a legit and good way of making money online.

But when it comes to Aurora, we wanted to dig into whether they can actually do what they are claiming it will do.

If you know anything about affiliate marketing, you will know one of the major factors as to whether you are successful or not is whether you can get any traffic to your affiliate products or not.

Getting traffic is probably the hardest thing about making money online if you do not know how you can achieve it, but Aurora claims you be able to generate that traffic on demand.

WOW! That is a bold claim!

How can they achieve that, when the rest of us have to work really hard to get traffic.  Well, they dont actually show you until you get into the system.  This is usually a ploy to get you into their sales funnel so they can sell you other stuff.

Let me tell you now, affiliate marketing is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

I have yet to find a program that is promising quick earnings that is legit!

Making money online is fun, but it requires a lot of time and effort.

But many beginners are looking for quick ways to make money online, often because of desperation and that is why so many of them get caught in a scheme that promises them exactly what they want.  Only to find they have found themselves either caught by a scammer or nowhere closer to earning any money.

Aurora does set out a couple of warnings for me.

  1. They are promising quick and easy traffic
  2. You will only need to spend 5-10 minutes a day on your business

If you believe either of those of any pitch online, you will find yourself in that group that will never make any money online!!

How Does the Aurora System Work?

The platform looks like a simple enough platform to operate and is designed with beginners in mind.  Like we said, it is supposed to be for those looking to get started with affiliate marketing.

We personally use affiliate marketing and know that it is a genuine business model.  But from our experience, we have not found any magic button systems that can speed up the process.  There are various factors to consider, such as the products or services you offer and the traffic levels you can drive to your offers will determine your success.

But Brendan states you do not require a blog, or any paid ads so how can they promise a quick route to gain traffic to show your offers to?

The idea behind Aurora is to get free traffic via Pinterest.  You drive that traffic to a webinar that will entice them to buy a high-ticket product (products that cost thousands of dollars) through your affiliate link.

Each time someone buys the product they saw in the webinar; you earn a commission between $400-$1000.

Now, if you don’t have a lot of experience (which is the target audience for Brendan & Jono).  You will think this sounds great and will think $17 is worth it.  But hold on, we have more to share before you make your decision.

After you gain access to the Aurora members area, you complete two steps to make the software work:

Step One – Select your Niche or Keywords to Identify your Target Audience

After you have identified you niche and chosen some target keywords, the software will go and follow everyone that is inside that group.  These will become your target audience.

Step Two – Selected the Automated Webinar (Video) that you want to use

Once you have identified your target audience, you get shown a webinar builder that you can use to choose the video you wish to use and edit your promotion page.

Once your webinar and promotion page are ready, you get an (affiliate) link to add to your Pinterest profile.

But you Still Need Traffic... Here is the Huge Assumption!

Now, up until this point there isn’t really anything that flags up.  You choose a product to promote, like any affiliate marketer would.  But we still haven’t got to the nitty-gritty of actually who you are going to show this fancy webinar too to get a sale!

Their whole premise is based on you going and following people on Pinterest, and hoping they follow you back in the hope they will then see your webinar and spend thousands of dollars on the product you are wanting to shift.  To me, there are huge flaws in this method.

  1. Building up a Pinterest Following is not as quick or as easy as they are making out.
  2. The key to affiliate marketing is relevancy – Who is your webinar and product going to appeal to?
  3. The products you will be promoting are not worth the cost and will not result in any sales

They keep stating that you do not need a blog, so they do not offer any training on any other form of traffic generation.  You are kind of hoping that people follow you back, decide to watch your webinar and decide to buy it.

BUt remember, this are high ticket offers as in really expensive.  We are not talking about a product that is going to be a few quid and will appeal to the masses.  You need to target people who can afford the price.

You need to be highly targeted when it comes to High-Ticket offers.  Not everyone has the money to invest in these kinds of products.  This means you might not make any sales…

The other factor we need to consider is that whilst they are promoting it as a product that costs $16.97… That is not the real cost…

The Real Cost of the Aurora System...

Like most of these kind of products, they are full of up-sells and Aurora is no different.

After paying the $16.97, you are hit with a series of up-sells prior to getting access to the members area:

Upsell One – Pro Version ($67)

This includes unlimited videos, unlimited Pinterest accounts.  It also allows you to add Instagram, so you can have a wider reach.

Upsell Two – DFY Auto Webinars ($197)

This unlocks 5 webinars for you to use with your affiliate offers.

Upsell Three – Limitless Traffic ($197)

This up-sell is about getting your pixel onto their sales pages, with the idea of driving more traffic to your affiliate offers.

Upsell Four – Licence Rights ($97)

This gives you the ability to promote and sell Aurora as your own product and earn 100% commission.

Like most of these types of products, the earning potential they are talking about ($10k a month) will require all of these products plus some other knowledge and experience to actually make money with it and yet they are stating you can do this for just $16.97.

It is a typical MMO ploy to get you in and then they can sell them as you require them to be successful.

They hold back enough information and only show you what you want to know to entice you in.  Once you are in, you either lose your $17 or you spend more believing that this will work.  Which personally I am uncertain whether this will actually work.

What is Good About the Aurora System (PROS)

Here is what we liked about it:

Shows You Basic Affiliate Marketing

Aurora is teaching you a small element of affiliate marketing and whatever we think about this product, affiliate marketing is a genuine marketing business model and high-ticket affiliate marketing is sometimes hard to get right as people need to be able to invest the money when the products are costing thousands of pounds giving a great opportunity to affiliate marketers who can promote and sell them.

If you are going to promote high ticket products you need to be highly targeted in who you are promoting the products too.  These tend to be fewer sales to the right people, rather than high sales to the masses.

30-Day Money Back Guarantee

Aurora - 30-day money back gurantee

This is something that covers you, however I would question whether it is realistic to expect your money back.  Affiliate Marketing takes time and 30-days is not a lot of time when it comes to affiliate marketing and you would need to prove what you are doing.  But either way, it is a pro that they offer it.

What Could the Aurora System Improve on? (CONS)

Here is what we didn’t like:

Unrealistic Timescales – 5 minutes a day?

Affiliate Marketing takes a lot of time and effort, so how can Aurora state you only need 5 minutes a day to make money.  I am sure you will get some people to watch the videos, but how many people who are looking to make money online have thousands of pounds to spend on these high-ticket products…?

You are much better off learning genuine affiliate marketing and offering an array of different products and services using multiple streams of free traffic generation.

Aurora is also limited on what you can promote, as not every niche will be available via this software.  But you don’t need it.  With Amazon alone, you gain access to every product they have available and with the right training you can easily get started with affiliate marketing for free.

Only Pinterest, What about Google?

I also question why they are only focusing on one stream of social media.  I have also experienced times when Pinterest will not allow you to share an affiliate link.  So how can people find your video?

The other fact is that they are not going to teach you how to use Google or YouTube, in fact they use it as a tag line that you don’t need to worry about YouTube.  But Google owns YouTube and two thirds of the traffic online goes through that so why would you not try and target it to make money and show your offers to…?

I’ll also go back to my point where we are assuming that everyone will follow you back and choose to have a look at your profile to find your link.

You will be Promoting Low-Quality Products

Let’s be honest, most of the products you will be promoting are from the Make Money Online sector.  Where most are low-quality or downright scams.  Most of the time you can tell by the sales pitch that they are low-quality, so who is going to pay for these products you are going to promote.

The reason you should worry about this is, if the customers pay for these products and then want a refund, this will also impact you as you will not typically receive the commission.  There is normally a holding period when it comes to high commissions.  This is just in case of anyone requesting a refund or a chargeback.

There is also the fact that you will be limited on what you can offer by the done-for-you webinars.

Will You Actually Make Any Money…?

I cannot honestly see how you will make money with this product.  Traffic is hard to come by without hard work and time for your traffic to increase.  You will not learn how to diversify your traffic streams and there is a lot to learn around affiliate marketing and you will not learn it here.

If you already know affiliate marketing and are fully able to gain traffic from other sources and are looking to expand into Pinterest, this might work for you.  But again, would you be happy promoting low-quality products…?  Probably not.

You are Totally Dependent on Aurora

My last concern is the fact that you will be totally dependent on Aurora to make money.  So, if it closes down for any reason.  You will have lost access to the platform and will have to start again elsewhere.

My Honest Opinion of Aurora System? Is Aurora System a Scam?

Whilst I do not think Aurora is a scam, I would not recommend it to someone looking to get started making money online.

You will only learn basic knowledge and will be totally dependent on the system.   Their sales pitch makes it sound like you can make money whilst you sleep, but only gives you one way to gain any traffic and there are some huge assumptions as to whether they will even look at your sales video. (Would you sit through a webinar online about a product you do not really need, especially when it is probably going to cost you $1000???)

You need to be highly targeted when you are promoting products that are costing thousands of dollars, and yet Aurora claims these buyers are on Pinterest.

There are too many variables, and I have little confidence that this will lead to a genuine money-making opportunity.

A beginner will have a much better chance of success with comprehensive training and a blog where you can explore multiple ways of generating traffic to your affiliate promotions.

Would I recommend Aurora to someone just starting out – NO!

Want a Helping Hand to Get Started...?

We have been doing affiliate marketing for a couple of years and to date, I have not found any program that delivers on their promises on their sales pitches around earning money quickly.

If you are still looking for a quick way of earning money online, then affiliate marketing is not one of them.

Affiliate Marketing requires a lot of hard work, it requires a lot of time and it requires proper training.

We are here to help anyone who wants help getting started, but you need to commit to the time and effort required to learn it and put it into action.

If you want to get started in affiliate marketing and want a trusted training platform that has a proven success record, we highly suggest you read about the training platform we used to get started and that platform is called Wealthy Affiliate.

With comprehensive training in affiliate marketing and how to create your own online business, it is our top recommended program.

  1. Hey there,

Thanks for another great review! Aurora System can’t be used as your primary money making online for sure, for all the reasons you have stated in your review. But, if you have good training, I think that it could be a great complementary product/platform to use for affiliate marketing. It depends on the quality of the training for Pinterest. I might give it a shot.

    Thanks!

    • Hey Marios,

thanks for checking out our blog and for writing some comments.  Do not expect enough training on Pinterest for this to be effective.  This is about learning how to use this platform and not enough about Pinterest.

The training to use Pinterest is much better at platforms like Wealthy Affiliate.  Where you can benefit from training on all aspects of online marketing.

      Thanks

  2. Hi

I’m curious about the “Auto” and “Done for You” webinars that are being offered by Aurora. If I am choosing my own niche and keywords but the webinars are done with a builder that would seem to really limit the types of affiliate products I could promote or do I have to record my own webinars? Is that correct or have I missed something here?

thanks for checking out our blog and for writing some comments.

You have it spot on, you will only be able to promote certain products as the webinars and products are really limited.

You will not be able to produce your own webinars through this product.  You are much better off learning how to create your own videos and marketing whatever product you want to, without the limitations of this product.

      thanks

  3. To me, it’s always a big red flag when I see that the sales video is lacking any real information – most of the time they just bang on about how lucky you are to have found their product, or how easy it is…without ever mentioning what you are going to be doing for the money you earn!

Pinterest is a pretty good social marketing platform, but at the end of the day you need to put a long hard learning curve into using it properly – I doubt they cover this fact.

How long did you test this product out for and did you see any positive results (at all)?

    • Hey Chris,

thanks for checking out our blog and for writing some comments.  They just include enough information in the product to make it worth the $17, but in reality you have to spend money on the upsells to have effective information.

But it is the sales video, like you say that is what gets me.  “This is a fabulous product, buy me” but they don’t tell you what it really is.

If I am honest, after reviewing the type of sales videos that you would be showing with these high ticket items I wasn’t willing to show them to our followers.  I felt they would harm our credentials more than earn us money.

Not worthwhile enough to harm our reputation.

      thanks

  4. Hi you need to be congratulated on a great article.

Like you, when I see programs like Aurora, I am not sure if I should laugh or cry. I would blame the success of companies like this on the recipient’s desperation, gullibility, or greed, but in reality that isn’t so. There are so very many people loading Tubes and pronouncing that they made xxxx’s of dollars in just a few clicks, or they make the same every day that people are nowadays literally bombarded into the belief that it truly must be possible.

I am glad that you do those people justice, by not making them read too far into your article before they discover the truth behind this particular program. You do the world a justice by very clearly explaining why. Well done.

    Regards

    • Hey Adrian,

thanks for checking out our blog and for writing some comments.  I feel it goes deeper than that.  The people who launch this programs know how to make money and have effective strategies already in place.

But they don’t feel like producing a product that will genuinely help them, they just want to make themselves more money at the expense of people who lack knowledge.

That is what upsets me more I think.  Affiliate Marketing takes time and effort, but people want to test the water with it and People like Brendan don’t want that.  They just want you spend your money and line their pockets.

If we can help people find genuine routes we will, and this is not one of them.

      thanks

  5. Hi, John.
Thanks for the complete information provided a thorough review of Aurora System.
Whenever a system announces Heaven’s Money with zero efforts, five minutes of working and at the cost of pennies, my Suspicious Radar starts rotating. And thanks for your review, my gut feeling became correct. So finally – Aurora System is not a Scam but not less than a scam as all the claims are impractical. Thanks, John.

It isn’t technically a scam as they do offer you some value for your initial investment.  But it is very close to being one that it is low quality enough to not recommend.

  6. Based on my experience in the world of online business, I haven’t seen any long lasting online business that one can earn money from it within such short period of time. Not even an independent business. Registration with that amount of money excluding upsells that are needed does not appear to be beneficial to the people that can’t afford the money. Although, we need to use money to get money but it must not be too tight.  Thanks for revealing this online business. I will love to look deeper on that.

  7. John, thanks for the comprensive review of the Aurora system. I’ll be avoiding this one for sure. I think you identified the weakness of the system: a reliance on Pinterest to generate traffic and promotion of high ticket items that are low quality. There are too many of these schemes now where a small payment entices you in and then there are a series of upsells to get you to the complete package which isn’t worth the substantial sums you’ve paid out for. Thanks to you and others these ploys are exposed.

thanks for checking out our blog and for writing some comments.  There is just not enough evidence to confirm whether you will get any sales from this method and it is all about enticing newbies to spend money they probably don’t have to make the owners money, rather than being an effective way of making money.

      thanks again

    Dear Mr. Mace,

I have tried my best to get your 30 day money back back refund for the Aurora Pro Program.

Sir, you have not even acknowledged any of my e-mails and I find that very disappointing.

I also find it hard to get around as I am physically disabled.

Today I have a ride on what they call in Canada a “Wheel Trans bus”.

You have left me in an uncomfortable position as now I have no other means to get the 30 day money back guarantee except to file fraud charges against your false claim.

I can not do this over the phone with my bank, and you have subjected me to a painful and un-necessary inconvenience.

As I see, “WarriorPlus” is involved, which is unfortunate for them. They unlike you have returned my correspondence, regarding this issue.
    Regretfully,

    Michael Mortimer

I still have to fight to get my money back.

    • Wow,
Thanks for sharing that Michael. I cannot believe they are trying to make you feel bad for wanting to get your money back for this low-quality product. They are also basically trying to blackmail saying that you are affecting the children.
They will go to some extents not to give you your money back.
I wish you luck on getting your money back…
