Work from Home Jobs for Disabled People – Don’t Let Anything Stop You!

It is getting harder and harder for disabled people around the world to get a job and earn a living. There are fewer opportunities for disabled people to actually get a job, and this can also depend on the severity of their disability.

This is also not being help by the fact that governments are also cutting back on the amount of benefits that disabled people can claim, with some also having their benefits being completely removed.

Disabled Life is Hard Enough…

WIthout having mindless governments removing part of their income, this can make it really hard to survive on what is left.Work from Home Jons for Disabled People

This can lead to a sense of fear, especially as the number of jobs for able bodied people are reducing by the day and this will make it harder for those that require their specific needs catered for to be able to employ them.

Around the world there are factors that are leading to more and more people being put out of a job.  In the UK alone, Tesco and Honda have announced job cuts in the last couple of weeks and this only puts more people into the job market.

Now this is where it can seem natural to search online for a way to earn money online.  Millions of able bodied people have created online careers over the last 15 years, so what is stopping disabled people doing exactly the same.

Nothing is Stopping You!

Nothing is stopping you achieving just as much success, but there are a few things to consider before you continue your search for a way to earn money online.

Avoiding Scams Online

Scams are everywhere online!

Think about why you are searching for a way to make money online, and the reasons is because it would make life better.  These scammers draw on those emotions and entice people in with systems that promise easy money and autopilot systems that make them sound too good to be true.  And there lies the problem – they are too good to be true!

Once you have handed over your money, you are stuck with a crappy product that will either not work or mean you need to spend more of your hard earned money to make it actually work.

Many of us would not be running these websites if these scams were not around, as we work hard to find these scams and get people to avoid them and find genuine products that have proven to be genuine, and actually work for anyone, able-bodied and disabled alike.

My simple advice is, if the product looks too good to be true and is holding back a lot of information, then it would normally point towards a scam.  Doing your research is an important step and will mean you only spend money when it is a sound investment.

Finding Work from Home Opportunities

Whilst there are factors you will need to consider when looking for opportunities to work from home, like what your disability is and what kind of time constraints will it put on you to find a work from home opportunity.

Work from home jobs for disabled people

You need to factor in the time you have available, and how much time you are able to spend in front of the computer too.

The beauty of working from home is the fact you have complete control over the hours you work.  This makes it a huge benefit to you.

The opportunity, we want to share with you today, is becoming an Internet Marketer, more commonly known as an affiliate marketer.  As long as you are wiling to learn, can spend some time in front of the computer you can start on a work from home online business, meaning you are your own boss.

You will learn some valuable skills, build yourself an online business that can earn you what you are after, and also offer these skills out to other business owners.

Put simply, there are more opportunities online than ever, regardless of your disability it is a fantastic way of earning money online.  A couple of years ago, Gem and I stumbled onto a training platform that changed our lives and meant we could work from home and also start helping others find ways to earn money online with a genuine and supportive training platform.

It doesn’t matter about who you are, what your disability is – you will be very welcome, and get the opportunity to make the life you want for yourself with Wealthy Affiliate!

  2. Hey there,

Affiliate Marketing is a great way for people with disabilities to earn an income online.

It does need time and effort, but it is a legit business and a way to earn passive income.

Also, through the process of setting up a blog, writing posts and reviews, finding products to promote, build an audience through SEO and social media, anyone can learn a lot of skills that can lead to other businesses or income-earning opportunities.

    Thanks for a great post!

Businesses are often looking for people with the skills you learn through the journey of learning affiliate marketing, and these are skills that are transferable and often can be done anywhere as all you require is a laptop and WIFI.

  3. This is an encouraging article and I like the way you analysed it for disabled people. I have an hard time bringing a friend of mine to affiliate marketing because she’s disabled and kept thinking such things ain’t for her. Will definitely show her this post to encourage her to take the bull by the horn and to know nothing can stop her from earning from affiliate marketing as a disabled. Thanks for this, really helpful.

thanks for checking out my blog.  Unfortunately, the way things are at times – it makes less able people think they cannot achieve things.  But this is a totally outdated view, and they can achieve anything they put their mind to!

We hope to help anyone, regardless of age, ability, etc. to find success – if that is what they are wanting to do.

    • Hey Ian,

thanks for checking out my blog.  My wife runs a wedding business, and part of that is a magic mirror photo booth.  We recently went and did a booking at a place that supports those that are less able.

It was a lovely afternoon, and chatting to them it just give you a sense, that they are just stuck in the system.  They couldn’t hold normal jobs, but that doesn’t stop them being intelligent, funny even cheeky and perfectly able when it comes to an online affiliate marketing business.

But there still seems to be a stigma around certain disabilities and that didn’t sit right with me.  My grandma, before she passed was awesome on a computer and it was something she learned herself by researching.

That was the inspiration, there may be a few cases where it might be a barrier to starting an online business, but for the majority of those are are classed as disabled – we can prove them wrong and show that pretty much anyone can do it – If they want to do it.

      thanks

  7. I think it’s pretty cool how many “make money” opportunities the internet gives us. You don’t even have to leave your house to make money so it might be heaven-sent for people who can’t work traditional jobs because of disabilities and other stuff.  Affiliate truly is one of the best and most profitable ways to earn money. I’ve been a blogger and affiliate marketer for 3 years now and am able to pay my bills without ever leaving the house.  It’s amazing.

    • Hey Ezra,

thanks for sharing your experience.  You are right, more people are looking online for ways to work from home and traditional jobs are harder to find with companies always looking to reduce the wage bill.

Affiliate Marketing is growing fast, and people are able to work around their own circumstances and not their boss’s.

      thanks

    • Hey Jafor,

thanks for checking out my blog.  To your question, yes and no.  Affiliate Marketing is around introducing a product to someone, i.e. Amazon.  Referral is around introducing someone to a platform.

Loosely, they are the same thing.  but there are subtle differences.

      Hope that helps

  10. Hi there

This article, I believe was written with me in mind.LOL

I mean everything that you mentioned has happened to me. I had a well-paying job and my health was all fine. Then two months ago, I started getting uncontrollable and painful arthritis in my hands. My job requires the use of my hands and it requires precision muscle movements of the fingers. This was becoming difficult and soon I was let go of my job.

I like the sound of affiliate marketing, and when it comes to typing, I can handle it. In fact, I always wanted the opportunity to start a business from home. Looks like I was meant to read your very helpful article.

    Thanks so much

    Regards

    • Hey Roopesh,

thanks for checking out my blog.  Sorry to hear about your job, it is a bit underhand but shows what companies are like.

Affiliate Marketing is a great way of becoming independent again.  I would also say, that as my dad suffers from arthritis that typing can get tiresome after a while.

But with technology as it is today, you could also try voice recognition software.  It came to mind, as I wrote a blog recently from Kyle (one of the owners at WA).  He hurt his hand, hence was not able to type for a while.  So he stating talking into this software to create a written blog.

His experience, showed it was actually much easier and quicker.  Something to consider.

Just another way, that even if your hands do hurt you, you can still achieve your goals with Affiliate Marketing.

I wish you all the best

  11. Thank you for sharing this post about Work from Home Jobs for Disabled People. I enjoyed reading it, it was very informative. I am not disabled, but I do work with young adults who have Down syndrome. Our church has a cool program to help anyone who can’t get a job due to their disabilities. We’re helping them on how to start a business from home, selling Christian product through affiliate marketing. There is a lot of work, but I do like the compensation and any time I can spend with my church family. LeNard ~seconds2work

thanks for checking out my blog.  That is a great program you are doing, nothing should stop anyone who wants to achieve.

I loved reading a news article in the paper recently.  It was a young lady with downs syndrome who was sick of being told what she couldn’t  do and started her own bakery, and it is a thriving business.  I found it really inspirational about breaking down the normal barriers that are set out in life.

thanks again and the best with your program.

I believe affiliate marketing is a great opportunity. But it’s indeed uniquely attractive for disabled people. Thank you very much for writing this post. And I personally know somebody for whom this post will be a game changer. I’ll immediately share. Again, thank you very much!

Yes, making money online is indeed a great way for people with limited abilities to earn a living. Wealthy Affiliate is a great opportunity as well since I’ve been using it since August and I’m enjoying the premium membership with all of the perks that it provides. However, like all businesses, it’s a slow start. Don’t be expecting to make anything within the first year. However, if you create regular content, you will make it in the end!

As it is very normal that not everybody is physically able to engage in serious and tedious tasks but then, that should not be an excuse to shy away from all works. This that you have shared is really good and would be helpful to a lot of people who are disabled in one form or the other. This up for putting this out

    • Hi Roger,

thanks for checking out our post.  I firmly agree with you, affiliate marketing requires you to help – anyone and everyone is capable of offering help.  Where normal conventions stop these people from getting a job, they can build their own online business helping others and do something that they want to do too.

As long as you are willing to learn and then put into practise, this is a road that is fully inclusive of everyone!
