Summary: Freedom Fast Lane offers some good training and will definitely yield some results, I question whether it is really a great product for beginners just starting out with Affiliate Marketing – it is quite a high investment and you will be expected to invest more straight away. There will be a lot of time investment expected straightaway, which is find if you have the time to spare. Whilst it isn’t a scam, I would say this is more for Affiliate Marketers looking to scale their business and not start one.

What is Freedom Fast Lane?

Launched in 2011 by Ryan Daniel Moran, Freedom Fast Lane is a training platform and community. The aim of the training is to grow a business to a million-dollar turnover, so you can live the life you always dreamed about.

They offer 3 core programs:

  • The Builder Boot Camp
  • The Tribe
  • The Backroom Mastermind

Each of the core programs has a different approach to starting a business, but the whole system is built on creating how to live life at your best.

Many might be thinking it is too good to be true… but let’s delve into the program to understand it a little better.

Inside Freedom Fast Lane

The product is aimed at new or struggling affiliate marketers, but there is a price to pay to get their training and support. You will need to be prepared to invest $5k in the first year.

The pitch is that you can take a relatively new business and take it to the point where you are earning a million-dollars and looking at it, you would need to earn big to continue paying for the platform. I am not suggesting that this platform will not work, the evidence suggest that it will work – but in my experience new or struggling affiliate marketers haven’t got the funds to invest in such a product.

But they do provide some good training on how to sell products online, affiliate marketing, email marketing and leveraging social media. So, the training is beneficial, but I do not that you will still need to invest in a website and website hosting as this isn’t included.

If you are new or struggling to get your affiliate marketing business off the ground, there are better options that you could benefit from without the high price tag, for example Wealthy Affiliate.

How Does Freedom Fast Lane Work?

There are 3 core products, and we will go through each, so you understand what they offer.

The Tribe – $5k/yr.

This is aimed at launching your first website, with the goal to reach $100k a month using Amazon. You also gain access to the community where you can network with other entrepreneurs online.

This is where you would start, and the idea is that you are able to earn this amount to move to the next level:

The Backroom – $25k/yr.

This is for the elite Internet Marketers, where they share their business strategies. But to become a member, you would need to be earning a $million a year. Not always necessarily, but they are looking for those who can contribute positively to their community. You also get access to major advice from their front end of other big business opportunities.

The Brand Builder Bootcamp – $2,997 one-off fee

This is aimed at building a million-dollar business. If you are unable to pay the full $2,997 upfront, you can pay it in two payments of $1,600.

Once you are in, you get access to a 3-stage training program to begin with:

The 10-day Challenge – this is all about challenging yourself with 10 steps to complete over 10 days, which will give you an overview of the business model you will be using.

Download the Freedom Manifesto – this is an e-book written by Ryan and consists of the following topics:

  1. What Do Your Do
  2. Step One – Decide
  3. Step Two – Contract
  4. Step Three – Expand
  5. Step Four – Invest
  6. Step Five – Given Back
  7. Step Six – Freedom in 6-12 months

Subscribe to the Freedom Fast Lane Podcast – these are about Ryan and other successful entrepreneurs sharing their stories and success tips.

The one thing I do notice about the way this is all pitched is there is no time for complacency or going at your own pace.

The Fast Lane bit is about earning this quickly, that is obvious. But from what I know about Affiliate Marketing is it takes time and a lot of effort. If you are currently working and hope to do this on the side, this isn’t for you. My understanding is you will need to invest all of your time into it, if you will ever achieve what they set out as their vision.

How Much Does Freedom Fast Lane Cost?

The cost is dependent on which level you sign up with, but you need to understand that as part of their terms and conditions you are expect (it is compulsory) that you invest in $5k into your new business and dedicate 6 months to getting it set up.

So, if you plan on signing up to the Brand Builder Bootcamp, which is $2,997 then you will still need to invest a further $5k into your business.

Otherwise the other levels are:

The Tribe which is $5k a year and the Backroom is $25k a year!

What We Liked About Freedom Fast Lane

Here’s what we liked about Freedom Fast Lane:

  • It comes across as a very inspiring community
  • There is lots of useful training and information to explore
  • Anyone interested in getting started with Affiliate Marketing could benefit from the platform – as long as they can afford the fees

What We Didn't Like About Freedom Fast Lane

Here’s what we didn’t like about Freedom Fast Lane:

  • The cost – this is pitched at beginners, but priced for people who are looking to take their business to the next level
  • A lot of the information available could be found for free online
  • They pitch how much you can earn, but do not detail the work that you will be required to do to meet that estimate
  • The Support does get a mixed response, it definitely could be improved
  • There are better options for beginners

Haven't Made Your First $1 Yet?

Studies have shown that more than 70% of the people who want to make money online have not made their first dollar yet. So, you’re not alone!

My Freedom Fast Lane Review - Final Conclusion

Whilst I am quite happy to state that Freedom Fast Lane is not a scam, it is a program that is designed to convince beginners it is the program to have, but personally I feel this is a product for successful Affiliate Marketers looking to scale their business and build a million-dollar business, not start one.

If you are new to Affiliate Marketing and looking to see if it is worth the investment, I would suggest there are better options where you can get started for free.

Affiliate Marketing will take a lot of time and effort, regardless of the direction you choose, but personally I would expect better support from a program that is expecting that kind of investment upfront.

A Better Option...

If after reading this review, you feel the Freedom Fast Lane isn’t for you, but you are really interested in getting started with Affiliate Marketing, then I would highly recommend Wealthy Affiliate.

It is high-quality training, tools and support without the high investment cost. You can even get started for free before making any decisions, but with a $49/month fee it is a fraction of the cost of Freedom Fast Lane and people see real success, and some have even posted businesses that are taking a million dollars a year.

Without having to hand over the amount of money that Freedom Fast Lane expects you to pay them.  Money I would rather invest into my own business.

If you want to learn more, I recommend you read my full Wealthy Affiliate Review.

  1. Hey John, your article was great and enlightening. I’m happy that you found a work from home program that’s not a scam but I do want to express my opinion about how expensive it is to join or at least to get something out of it. No support, how do you have a work from home opportunity where you don’t have any support or hardly any? Anyway, your article was great, keep up the good work!

    • Hey RJ,

thanks for checking out my review and leaving some comments.  It does seem a real flaw in their operating model to have people asking questions and having to wait so long for a response.  Support is everything in any business, you need to get a response quickly to help.

      thanks

  2. Hi John,

Great review, I really enjoyed the reading!

I’ve never heard of Freedom Fast Lane, and I am quite surprised by the price. It’s quite expensive:) WOW, 100k per month with Amazon, that’s a lot! Do you think it’s possible for a new online business to attain this number?

Anyway, I am a Wealthy Affiliate member since 2014, and I feel like I still need to learn a lot about affiliate marketing, but I am well covered as Wealthy Affiliate provide all the training you need to build a successful business. What I like about Wealthy Affiliate is that they tell you in advance that it takes time and effort to create a successful business.

However, it would be great to explore other platforms, and as soon as I can, I’ll try the Freedom Fast Lane, I am sure I’ll learn something interesting there too:)

Just a question, please. What if I don’t like the platform? Is there a possibility to get a refund?

Thank you for this excellent post!

    • Hey Daniella,

thanks for checking out my review and leaving some comments.  Like I said in the post, it looks like the kind of program to explore once you are making the kind of money to invest in to it.  So there may come a point where we decide to try it.

Their terms and conditions state that there is actually a 90-day money back guarantee which is quite reasonable.

here is the link to their t’s and c’s – https://www.freedomfastlane.co

Wealthy Affiliate is a great platform to learn everything there is to know about affiliate marketing, as I see freedom fast lane a way of investing in bigger businesses to get the returns they are talking about.

      thanks

  3. Pish! You are right, new or struggling affiliate marketers definitely do not have 5k laying around to invest in a program and may or may not work for them. As far as for this “Backroom” program for a whopping 25K per year, I mean wow – if I had that kind of money to put down on a program I don’t think I would be needing any assistance, I would be doing just fine. Yeah they have an “inspiring community” but Wealthy Affiliate has an even better community. At Wealthy Affiliate we have a 24 hour chat room, support, the ability to ask a question and have it answered within minutes. I think its more affordable too, about $50 a month you can’t go wrong and you won’t get suckered into any upsells.

    • Hey Sophia,

thanks for sharing your opinion on it, I agree with you – having that sort of money means you could invest in other ways of scaling up your business, like WA members have.

Support is a key way of describing any training platform and it does need to be great to help, especially as newbies will have that many questions and they need quick responses too.

I agree that WA is a great platform for a number of reasons.

      thanks

  4. Thank you John for taking the time to review this site to better educate our decisions, it can be hard to get the full picture from just the advertiser sales pitch alone.

Though their promises sound appealing, I am a beginner in the industry and also can only manage about 10 hours a week to dedicate towards working online. I’m sure a lot of others would fall into this boat too. It is a little disappointing those points are not made clear.

Also, thank you for providing a more suited platform for beginners.

    • Hey Terri,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.

Sales pitches on websites focus on the positive aspects, as they want you to invest into it.  That is why reviews are so key, as they tell you what the platform doesn’t.  But the one thing I did notice about Freedom Fast Lane, apart from the price is the fact that they expect you to invest all of your time into making this business work too.

Now, if you haven’t got a lot of spare time (due to a full time job) how can you see the success they state, if you cannot keep up with the training.

That is why I prefer a platform like Wealthy Affiliate – they are honest about the time and effort needed, but you go at your own pace.  You are set tasks, but you complete them when you are ready.

This is a much better path for people who struggle with technology, or are wanting to take it one-step at a time.

Wealthy Affiliate has helped thousands of people get started and scale up their business, without asking you to invest a huge sum like Freedom Fast Lane.

      thanks

  5. Hi John.

I must admit that I’ve never heard of Freedom Fast Lane, but it seems more like an exclusive club…it’s true that you “have to have money in order to make money”, especially in this case! It is pretty expensive and I agree with you, most beginner affiliate marketers just don’t have that type of money.

It seems to be an opportunity for people who are already making a lot of money to make more. Also surprising that there is not much support for that hefty price tag…

Regarding the Wealthy Affiliate option – it seems to offer a better opportunity for beginners. At least one can begin with the free website option, give it a go and see if this is something you would like to do before investing a huge pile of money (even if you could afford to do it).

There are so many scams online these days, at least good to know that this is not one though. Thanks for providing clarity – at least it will save people time if they can’t afford the cost!

    • Hey Natalie,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  That is a great synopsis for Freedom Fast LAne there – People just starting out would have a better chance of making it if they have a program that offers great support rather than intermittent support.

Giving people great information is what Gem and I are always looking for when we write these articles and if it means people take the right direction for them, it means we have succeeded.

      thanks again

  6. Hi John,

Thanks for your honest review on this program. I could see that Freedom Fast Lane is not a scam training program looking all the information they have on their website. When I began the reading the review and I saw the name, it sounded like one of the scams out there, but after carefully reading your post I can now see that this is a legit opportunity.

However, my problem is the prices. They look too much for a beginner like myself to go in for such an offer. I mean to pay $5K per year is CRAZY for me, not to think about $25K. I think this is indeed food for those who are already making some success in the affiliate marketing industry and want to scale their business to the next level.

Even their one time offer which is $2,997 for the Brand Builder Bootcamp is too much for some of us, not everyone though as some people can easily pay for it. But personally I don’t I can make such an investment at the moment.

Thanks for the review and for your #1 recommended program.

    Stephen.

    • Hi Stephen,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  You are right, looking at the website it is pitched at the beginner, whilst it should be pitched at successful affiliate marketers wanting to take their successful business to the next level.  That unfortunately is the problem with this product.

If you have that sort of money already, you already know the basics – but someone starting out needs a step-by-step program will support that is on-hand at all times.  That is why Wealthy Affiliate is our No.1 Recommended Product.

      thanks

      John

  7. Freedom Fast Lane sounds interesting but I’d be hard pressed to pay that kind of money upfront when I am not even sure about what I am going to be doing to make money online. It’s good to know that they’ve got a 90-day money back guarantee . But even so, I don’t think that it’s something for me. For that kind of money I want something with a bit more support being offered. A rating of 2/5 for support, just does not cut it for me.

While I really like the idea of affiliate marketing, I’d prefer to get started with something much cheaper to get a better understanding of what it’s all about and how I could get started cheaper. So I’ll definitely be checking out your Wealthy Affiliate review to get more information on it.

Just out of curiosity, do I need any special skills to get started in affiliate marketing?

    Reply
    • Hey Vanessa,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  I agree, the support could be much better – but a lot of it is left down to the community if a Q & A format which will make it depend on if the person with the right answer is online…

As to any special skills you might need, I would say you need patience and a willingness to learn. Be determined that you are going to make it work and Wealthy Affiliate will teach you everything else you need to know.  You do not need to know about building a website or anything like that as we are there to help you with that.

But if you do not put any effort in, it will be in vain.

      thanks

  8. This is a thorough review. I have never heard of freedom fast lane, based on what I read there are a few red flags in this review. Firstly, the cost is ridiculous, secondly the support is below average and thirdly the success rate is not even close to impressive.

Truly this is a business for the successful Affiliates who wants to make some investments.

    Thanks for sharing!

    • Hey Leo,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments.  Whilst Freedom Fast Lane would be something I might advise a successful Affiliate Marketer to look into, the program that is an ideal platform for beginners is Wealthy Affiliate, here is my link to my full review.

It will cost you $0 to get started, but even the premium membership is a fraction of the cost of Freedom Fast Lane.  It includes everything you need to know about affiliate marketing, including how to spot a scam.  I would like to point out that even though Freedom Fast Lane is expensive, it isn’t a scam.  But I would say it is for those marketers who are earning the bug bucks and looking for a more diverse investment plan.

      thanks

  10. Wow! My jaw dropped when I read how much this program would cost someone! Just from my experience at a different affiliate marketing program, a lot of us are just starting out and are looking to make money because we NEED more income. I don’t think there are a lot of us there that have 3000, 5000, or $25,000 to invest in something! That’s insane! Do they even offer you a glimpse of what you would get for that money before you pay it? I can’t see myself as a beginner investing that amount of money in a program. I am really happy with what I’ve learned at Wealthy Affiliate, and you get to start that for free! Maybe someday if my business ever gets big I could consider something that costs a couple grand, but for now I would just like to start getting some more money coming in the door. Thanks for your honest thoughts about Freedom Fast Lane.

    • Hey Lynne,

thanks for checking out my post and leaving some comments – this is not something any newbie could really consider a sound investment.  you are right, further down the road we may all consider programs that we could invest in, but when the business is paying for it and not someone who hasn’t got a clue.

Getting started with a supportive community like Wealthy Affiliate would be more beneficial before jumping into such programs.

      thanks
